Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Sayleaf, a desktop application that turns text into audio.

Your content

You are responsible for the text you enter or import and for having the rights needed to create and use audio from it. You retain rights to your own content. Do not use Sayleaf to process material in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.

Online speech service

Voice previews and narration generation require an internet connection and depend on an external speech service. Service availability, voices, and performance may change. Sayleaf cannot guarantee uninterrupted generation.

Local data and backups

Articles and generated audio are stored on your device. You are responsible for backing up content you want to keep. Clearing local history removes app-managed drafts and audio; exported copies in other folders remain your responsibility.

Updates

We may update the application or these terms. Continued use after a terms update means you accept the updated terms.
